Wednesday, March 5th was Heritage Day at Lowry Park Zoo, which meant a discounted admission. Because I was really missing spending time with Rhiannon, I decided to keep her out of school that day and take her to the zoo. We had a really wonderful time. Rhiannon loved all of the animals, especially the giraffes and the meercat babies. I forgot to bring my camera, however, and had to buy a cheap disposable, so I only have a few pictures and most of them oare of poor quality. We didn't bring a stroller, but Rhiannon was a trooper and walked the whole time, especially when I bribed her with ice cream. Lowry Park is a pretty good zoo, although all of the rides and etc. are at an additional cost. They are remodeling parts of the zoo (the giraffe and tiger pens) to make it better for the animals, too. We had such a wonderful time, just the two of us, and I hope we can do it again soon.
Rhiannon had some more school pictures made. I didn't buy any of these, because I just didn't think they were as good, but we did illegally scan them for your enjoyment.
