March 3

This blog has not been updated because, sadly, there is little to report. I am still working at New York & Company one or two days a week and at Outback Steakhouse four nights a week. I work a double shift every Sunday at the Restaurant and that means 10 hours on my feet. I'm quite exhausted but my added income has saved us. Joel is taking on a more managerial role at BCI and slowly adjusting to the stress and frustrations involved. He much prefers to be out in the field. Rhiannon is doing well in school. She is still not reading, but again, I think it's just that she isn't ready to make that step up. She has been upset because I am not home at night most of the week. It's hard on all of us, but we will adapt. Speaking of adapting, Oreo (I am trying to get everyone to call her Reo because it's easier to say when you are calling her or trying to make her do something) has made herself right at home with us. Draco loves having her around and the two of them play constantly. She hasn't even tried to dig under the fence again, now that Joel buried the fence a few feet underground. She does, however, bark at anything that moves and we are afraid it may annoy the neighbors. The plan is to put up a privacy fence, but it is a pricey endeavor so that may be a project for down the road.
The movie is of poor quality and a little boring, but Draco is so cute at the end.
