I took Draco and Oreo for a walk today through Lakeland Highlands Scrub and this time I remembered to bring my camera.

It's a very beautiful walk and the dogs really enjoyed themselves. I went a bit farther than I initially anticipated and it was hotter out than I thought so the dogs suffered a bit, but next time I will make sure that I bring water for all of us.

None of the pictures I took really show how beautiful the park is in person. I think I certainly could have taken better pictures if I hadn't had a dog pulling the leash in each hand.

They are moderately well behaved, but refuse to sit still when I stop, even when they are tired. I suppose it's my fault, though, for not taking them on walks consistently and training them.

I enjoyed taking the pictures and I just wish I had a better camera. The shutter speed on this one is interminably slow and it is big and bulky to boot - a very old camera purchased around five or six years ago (and in terms of digital technology, that is old). I've told Joel that I want a good camera for an anneversary present, so maybe by May....
