School Pics

Rhiannon just had school pictures made and I think they are so great! She has such a cheesy little smile and her eyes crinkle when she smiles - just like mine do. She's doing very well in school. She attends VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten) for three hours a day at La Petite Academy. Her teachers tell me that she is so smart - even though she is the youngest in her class she is very well advanced. She is on the cusp of reading - she knows all of her letters and the sounds that they make and she practices putting the sounds together. I think that she will be able to read as soon as she decides she is ready. I think that she is afraid of fully committing to it because it is such a big step and it means she is growing up and becoming less dependent on mommy and daddy. Growing up is scary. it scares me - I turned 30 today and I am terrified!
