I have the best husband and the best friends ever!

On Sunday, Joel, Rhiannon, and I rode the trails at Carter Road Park. I got to ride my new Gary Fisher Wahoo! It's very nice. I bought it as a "Congratulations on your new job" present for myself when I was hired on at Publix. Who knew they were going to let me go five days later?!

Joel then arranged to leave Rhiannon with a sitter and he took me out to The Cheesecake Factory for a just-the-two-of-us dinner celebrating my last day as a 20-something. We had a bottle of wine (Chalone Pinot Noir) and took our time eating dinner and just talking and laughing. We had a wonderful time - it was like a real date! He had been trying to get my friends together for dinner as well, but since he really didn't start trying to arrange it until about 3:00 that day, no one was able to make it.
The good news was that everyone could make it on Monday!! So, we went back to The Cheesecake Factory, this time with Rhiannon, and met up with all my most favorite people in the world - Liz, Bianca, Meredith, and Romi. I can't believe everyone was there because I know just how busy my friends are and how hard it is to get us all together at the same time, but they all came on short notice to celebrate my birthday with me. It was so great and I am so lucky!

I forgot to bring a camera with me last night so I don't have any pictures, but here is a picture from a previous night. From left to right is Liz, Kelly, Meredith, and Bianca. Unfortunately I don't have any pics with Romi - but we are going salsa dancing for her upcoming birthday so maybe then!
Rhiannon could not have been sweeter yesterday. She kept telling me "Happy Birthday" or calling me the birthday girl. She made me a picture. The flower was drawn by her friend Sierra, but the rest is all her. The princess on the right is her signature design - she draws them all of the time and they usually have rainbow dresses.
